Trauma Therapy

Traumatic experiences from the past prime our biology for a constant state of emergency. Living on guard, our longings for freedom and connection remain unfulfilled. While we cannot change what happened, we can change the meaning we’ve made from these events. I offer resolution through well-researched methodologies.

How Parts Work Can Help?

Working with our inner parts is essential for effective trauma healing. One of the unique and most valuable aspects of IFS therapy is its ability to heal our past wounds, particularly those carried by our younger parts, which hold various experiences of pain and trauma.

Connecting with these younger parts can be quite challenging on our own. Many of our protective parts may fear confronting this pain, experiencing it, or potentially reliving it. As a result, our network of protectors works hard to keep us away from that pain, and any attempts to address these issues might encounter resistance.

IFS provides a creative and gentle process that first fosters trust with the concerned protectors. The therapist is only a facilitator, and the protective parts have agency over the pace of therapy to foster a true self-to-part connection. In this unique space of trust and care, you can offer the youngest parts healing, empowerment, and a way to reclaim their gifts, wholeness, and beauty.
